Updated Covid 19 Office Procedures – effective 11/16/2020
The following processes will be followed until December 18, 2020. At that time, we will re-evaluate the case counts in King County, as well as any new guidance from the Governor’s Office, and adjust if we can.
- All client consultations will be via Zoom video conference and/or telephone call in lieu of an in-person meeting. There will be some exceptions made for client’s that need house calls for health reasons.
- Due to witnessing and notary requirements, Will signings have to be in person, and cannot be accommodated over Zoom. Will signings will be done outdoors. All participants will be required to wear masks and stand six feet apart. Client’s can stay in their vehicles and documents will be handed back and forth on clipboards.
- If you have other (non estate planning) documents that need to be signed/notarized (usually probate clients), we will coordinate with you how to best accomplish that whether it be in person outdoors, by electronic signature, etc.
Thank you for your trust, your business, and your flexibility. We truly appreciate each of you and wish you health and safety as we all navigate this difficult time.
